PROFILE INTRODUCTION

I consider myself an agent for positive change in the lives of my clients. It's important to recognize that a divorce can actually serve as the beginning of a new and more positive life stage, rather than being a sign of failure.

I partner with my clients to help them through the divorce process, and assist them in finding the process that works best for them. I especially enjoy working with clients in the collaborative process, because so often they are able to learn to problem solve with their spouse. If they have children together, that's a skill that will serve them in the future, and is likely to benefit their children.

I offer my clients the benefit of my knowledge and expertise, but encourage them to make informed decisions, since the decisions they make in the divorce process will impact their life. The decision to use the collaborative process or mediation to resolve conflicts may be the most important decision a client in a divorce can make.
